The autumn and winter months can be tough on our gardens. Wind and rain can leave a trail of destruction, from fallen leaves and branches to damaged fences. While a quick tidy-up can help, sometimes a more thorough approach is needed.

This is where a professional garden waste clearance comes in. It’s a service that goes far beyond what you might expect, offering a complete solution to reclaim your outdoor space.

It’s More Than Just Leaves and Twigs

A professional garden waste clearance is a comprehensive service that covers a wide range of materials. It’s not just about removing dead leaves and branches.

In vegetation terms, it may also mean removing some soil, particularly if it’s unsuitable for planting or has been polluted. It can also include lots of inorganic materials, such as clearing out a garden shed, which could contain tools and bulky equipment such as lawn mowers.

Tackling Structural Elements

Sometimes a garden clearance involves more than just the greenery. It can include other structural elements such as fences and gates – either because they are in a poor condition (for example, an elderly owner hasn’t been able to look after it properly) or just because a new or existing owner wants to start afresh and give the outdoor space a whole new look.

Other structural elements which may need to be removed can include patios and courtyards. ASAP Clearances are equally experienced when it comes to construction and building waste clearances in Highgate, Hampstead Garden Suburbs and the surrounding areas, so this won’t be a problem for us either.

FAQs

Do I need to be at the property for the clearance?

Not necessarily, although it would be an advantage. As long as we have access to the garden and a clear understanding of what needs to be removed, we can carry out the clearance without you being present. However, it would be helpful if we could contact you on the day in the event of any queries.

How is the waste disposed of?

At ASAP Clearances, we are committed to sustainable waste disposal. We will recycle as much of your garden waste as possible, with landfill only being used as a last resort.

We have a Waste Carriers’ Licence - what does this mean?

Possession of a Waste Carriers’ Licence means that we can handle all types of waste, and we can dispose of it of correctly in accordance with the law (the Environmental Protection Act of 1990 and The Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011 are relevant here).

It may also help with recycling, as licensed carriers have the contacts and expertise which ensure more of the ‘rubbish’ can be reused (for instance, stripping out and recycling certain metals.)
